Hey everyone, starting tomorrow, I'm going to Ocean City!

Whooo, so excited. The sun, ocean, relaxation for an entire week. =] Won't be posting for a week, but be prepared for many more swatches when I come back the next Sunday just in time for the 4th of July. I hope everyone has a fantastic summer vacation!

Acrylic Paint on Nails

Hey everyone! =]

Well, if you paint, you'll know that once acrylic paint dries on your nails, it doesn't come off. I know that from experience, ruined a perfectly good manicure. =[. Anyways, that got me thinking. I could use acrylic paint to do all sorts of crazy designs. Or, I could use it as an actual color.

In order for the acrylic to stay on your nails, you have to first do a layer of Base Coat, and then the acrylic paint, and then a top coat over it.

Stick around for more posts to come about acrylic!

My Own Franken: Orange Cream

Hey everyone! I'm here today with my second franken, Orange Cream. =]

Orange Cream started out as this orange creme. (hahaha, I actually didn't mean to do that on purpose._ However, I wanted it to be more metallic and sparkly, so I added some extra shine and glimmer. The result is an orange that really stands out.

To be honest, I don't really like orange nail polish. However, I really like this color and I think I'll actually wear it someday. =] Here are some not very accurate pictures, ahahaha. It's way more metallic and shimmer-y in real life. This was just the only non-blurry picture, but didn't show the glitter or shine.

My Own Franken: Pink Frosting

Hey everyone! Recently, I posted about Frankening and now I have a franken of my own to show you guys. =]

It first started out as According to Jane from Earth 2 Jane (left). I didn't really like it too much because it almost blended in with my skin tone. Then, I saw Essie Ball-Timore and I really wanted a color similar to that. So, Pink Frosting was created (right). As you can see, I didn't really change it that much, but it made a BIG difference and no longer blends in with my skin tone.

Pink Frosting is a metallic-y medium pink. It's a flattering color and I think it will be an awesome manicure color for when I'm feeling in the pink mood. =]

My Sister's Manicure: Zoya Midori

Hey everyone! Well, the Zoya nail polish came! I am so pleased with the colors and the quality. Zoya is one of my new favorites!

Okay, so I recieved tbe polishes last Thursday and I totally spazzed. I danced around the room shouting, you can ask my sister. That's beside the point. Anyways, I had my nails done on Saturday and it would be a waste to paint them if I'm only going to wear them for two days. So, my sister wanted me to paint her nails so I did.

Here's Zoya Midori from the Ooh-La-La Collection. It's a light green with shimmers of gold. I'm in love with the color and I can't wait to try it on my own nails!

My Manicure!

Well, graduation was yesterday, and I got my manicure done on Saturday. Sorry for the lack of posts, but middle school is finally over! Ahhhhhh, so many tears.

Okay, I chose a pretty light pink color so it wouldn't draw attention away from my dress. The design is so cool and Sonali says it looks like a firecracker...or maybe she's just weird like that. just kidding, just kidding. <3 After, my manicurist put this layer of sheer silver polish to top it all off. The final result was very girly and pretty.

What's a Franken?

Nail polish is nail polish. You can even mix it with other shades to make an even better color.A Franken is the result of just that.

You can go on this blog here: Dr. Frankenpolish for some recipes: http://drfrankenpolish.wordpress.com/

I for one just freehand it and add random stuff which is why I can never recreate my Frankens.

Anywho, stick around for more to come up soon.

Graduation Presents

Hey everyone! I have good news.

As popular as Zoya is, I’ve never actually tried it. I even have this giant wish list for all the colors I want. So, as a graduation present, I asked for Zoya Nail Polish. After I graduate 8th grade, I’m getting five bottles of Zoya Nail Polish. =]

Since, it’s currently summer, I chose summer-y colors. Later, for my birthday, I’ll get the fall/winter-y colors. The five colors are: Midori, Tallulah, Chelsea, Bailey and last but not least, Rea. The five are all pretty much metallics. I’m not a big creme fan. I prefer some sort of sparkle or shimmer.

Well, graduation is in about 2 weeks, so stick around for pictures! =]

Craze Break

Hey everyone. I have sad sad news:

Well, my mom is completely against nail polish. So, since she thought that I was using it too much, she is banning me from nail polish until after 8th grade graduation, because I'm going to get my nails professionally done. You can be sure I'll have pictures. =]. Anyways, since I can't wear nail polish, I'm about to go crazy, but this is just a Craze Break.

After graduation, I have some other nail polishes that I found in my closet. I think it's from Limited Too or something. Anyways, I'm also getting Del Sol Nail Polish, the one that changes colors in the sun, from my friend. In return, I'm getting her ganster pants. XD.

Since I can't paint my nails, I'll basically be talking about nail polish trends, collections, and other nail polish related things! =]
